ELSID 2011 Details:
In order to gain participation in the tournament, one must be a student, a graduate or holder of a post graduate degree. The competition is open to students from all fields of specialisation. High school students are not allowed.
The team cap is currently 24, but, provided we receive enough requests, we shall proceed to enlarge the team cap further. The competition shall be adjudicated by the members of the Oxford delegation as well as Romanian adjudicators that have international adjudicating qualifications.
The teams from outside of Cluj can register at ardor_office@yahoo.com. Any one person can only register his own team. Any one e-mail can also register only one team.
The teams from Cluj can register at their debate club instructor.
The deadline for applications is 20:00, on the 2nd of April.
If a selection of the teams shall be necessary, we shall proceed on a first come, first served criterion.
Registration Tax:
Local (Cluj Napoca) teams and adjudicators
30 RON/person includes a seat at the trainings.
40 RON/person includes the trainings as well as the competition. This sum also includes lunch every day of the competition, the transport to the Turda Salt Mines and access to the events that shall take place each evening.
National (outside Cluj-Napoca) teams and adjudicators:
65 RON/person includes participation in the trainings, the competitions, accommodation from Thursday to Sunday, lunch every day of the competition, the transport to the Turda Salt Mines and access to the events that shall take place each evening. Even if the person only wants to attend the trainings, the tax is still 65 RON/person.
