The debaters of the Oxford delegation will take part in the opening debate against Babes Bolyai`s finest debaters. This debate shall take place in the Aula Magna of Babes Bolyai University and the themes to be discussed shall be ones of current significance in the Global and National (Romanian) context.
Following the debate, a training is to take place on debate, rhetorics and communication, under the tutelage of the Oxford Union Society Delegation, with the participation of students from the four major university centers of Romania: Cluj, Bucuresti, Iasi and Timisoara.
The main feature of the event shall be ELSID 2011, a competition that will be directed by Jonathan Leader Maynard. The competition shall begin Saturday and end Sunday. Do bear in mind that all these activities are to be held exclusively in the English language.

Minor modifications to this programme may be undertaken and if so, they shall be announced no later than one week before the tournament, at which date we shall also communicate a more detailed description of each part of the event.
